Pelargonium graveolens is a fragrant, bushy perennial shrub loved for its deeply cut, velvety green leaves that release a strong rose-like scent when touched. In spring and summer, it produces delicate clusters of pale pink to mauve flowers with darker markings, adding soft colour to the plant’s aromatic foliage. Hardy and easy to grow, this pelargonium thrives in full sun to light shade and prefers well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established and suitable for garden beds, herb gardens, borders, and containers. The leaves are widely used for essential oils, teas, potpourri, and natural household fragrances.
